GA-FIT Recognized in 2025 Clean 13 Report

We are proud to announce that Georgia Flow Incentive Trust (GA-FIT) is included in the Georgia Water Coalition’s 2025 Clean 13 Report, which highlights extraordinary efforts by businesses, industries, local governments, non-profit organizations, and individuals to protect the water and natural resources of Georgia. During the press conference announcing the report, GA-FIT was celebrated for having conducted extensive research to identify necessary flows in the Flint River and its tributaries to sustain populations of federally protected species of freshwater mussels. Additionally, GA-FIT’s Habitat Conservation Plan and drought response mitigation measures not only provide assurances about future water resource management but also enable a comprehensive approach to meeting all water needs in the southwest Georgia region. We are grateful to all of our GA-FIT partners and engaged stakeholders for their support and celebrate this recognition with them.
